Archival Film 

Film Title: What Did You Say?      Duration: 2 minutes 

Project brief: Create a 2 minute short film for a student episode themed 'Adapting to Limits'.  

My interpretation was to teach the audience how successful online translation has become in adapting to the limit of communication barriers. By juxtaposing old footage with new technology you can see how far we have come. 

I took the idea of a phone salesman and created a montage of people getting the same call. I collected my footage from the Internet Archive and thanks to Creative Commons I was able to broadcast and share this film. 

This film, along with 5 others were compiled into one episode, Episode: 2 of Real Series, series 7 (created in 2016). 


Using Format
